Fuel and energy complex
Krasnodar Region Fuel and Energy Complex
The fuel and energy complex of the Krasnodar Territory includes more than 260 enterprises of various forms of ownership, which employ around
60 thousand people, produced more than 30% of industrial products in the region.
The structure of the fuel and energy complex includes the following industries:
- heat and power;
- pipeline transport;
- oil and gas;
- petroleum products supply.
In 2016, the Kuban power system reached its next historical maximum energy consumption - 4,500 MW. During 2008-2015, a steady positive growth in energy consumption of 3-5% per year has developed in the region.
The total installed capacity of the operating facilities for the generation of the Kuban energy system amounted to 2,448.272 MW (including the power plants of industrial enterprises - 469.672 MW).
From 2008 to 2016, as well as in preparation for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, the following generation facilities were built and put into operation: Turn 2 of the Sochi Thermal Power Plant - 80 MW; Adler TPP - 360 MW; Dzhubginskaya TPP - 180 MW.
In addition, as part of investment agreements concluded, construction of a number of generation facilities in the Krasnodar Territory is planned, including using renewable sources.
The territory of the Krasnodar Territory is geopolitically beneficial for the export of oil and petroleum products. In this regard, the development of the oil refining industry allows not only to attract investment in the region, but also to apply the most profitable logistic scheme for the transportation of oil and oil products. As a result of the coordinated actions of oil refineries and transport organizations, this industry is successfully developing.
The volume of oil refining over the past 10 years has increased from 9 million tons per year to 21.5 million tons (2.4 times).
The sales volume (net sales) of heat energy in 2016 by all heat supplying enterprises amounted to 7.1 million Gcal.
The installed capacity of all boilers operated by specialized heat supply organizations is
5 & nbsp; 704 Gcal / h, connected load - 3 & nbsp; 934 Gcal / h. Annual generation (supply to the grid) of thermal energy is 8.3 million Gcal.

Since 2008 in the Krasnodar Territory a phased modernization of heat and power. In 2016, the introduction of new thermal capacity amounted to 7.95 MW.
In 2016 compared to last year, the volume of work performed on the organization of gas supply to the population increased by more than 10 times.
