Since the beginning of the year, investment agreements for an amount of 33.2 billion rubles have been signed in the Krasnodar Region.


Veniamin Kondratyev in a comment to TASS noted that the region has established work coronavirus pandemic, the date of the annual Russian Investment Forum in Sochi was postponed by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation. The event is a major economic event not only in Russia, but also in the international arena. The number of participants, since the first forum, which was held in 2002, has increased several times. Only over the last year, it has increased by 30%.with potential investors online in the presence of restrictive measures.

Since the beginning of 2020 we managed to sign the intention to implement 98 projects with the total amount of 33.2 billion rubles, - the Governor noted.

Veniamin Kondratyev added that under restrictive measures due to the pandemic major investment projects continue to be implemented on the territory of the region. For example, the creation of an industrial park in the Eastern economic zone of the city of Krasnodar, where the production of light industry goods will be established.

For the last five years, more than 380 large-scale investment projects with the total amount of 413 billion rubles have been implemented in the territory of the Krasnodar Region. The region ranks first in the Southern Federal District in terms of attracted investments.
